Stainless steel elbows do not simply refer to one type of elbows, but represent more than one hundred industrial stainless steel elbows, each of which has good performance in its specific application field. The first is to figure out the purpose of the stainless steel elbow, and then determine the correct stainless steel grade. Commonly used stainless steel elbow materials are 304, 304L, 316, 316L and so on. They all contain chemical components such as chromium and nickel. For example, adding molybdenum can further improve atmospheric corrosion, especially the corrosion resistance of chloride-containing atmosphere. Stainless steel elbows are pipe fittings that change the direction of the pipeline in the pipeline system. There are three kinds of elbows commonly used in the construction of fluid pipeline engineering: 45°, 90°, and 180°, and other non-standard elbows such as 60° are customized according to the needs of the project. Elbow is a very commonly used pipe fittings and is widely used in chemical, construction, water supply, drainage, petroleum, light and heavy industry, refrigeration, sanitation, plumbing, fire protection, electric power, aerospace, shipbuilding and other basic projects.
    ⑴. Commonly used materials for stainless steel elbows: (304, 304L, 316, 316L, S30408, S30403, S31608, S31603, SUS304, ASTM A403, TP321, TP317L, 347, 0Cr18Ni9, 00Cr19Ni10, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, 1Cr18Ni9, 22Cr17Ni12Mo12, etc.)
⑵. According to the production method, it can be divided into pushing, pressing, forging, casting, etc.
    3. According to the manufacturing standard, it can be divided into national standard, electrical standard, ship standard, chemical standard, water standard, American standard, German standard, Japanese standard, Russian standard, etc.
⑷. According to its radius of curvature: it can be divided into long-radius elbow and short-radius elbow. The long radius elbow refers to the outer diameter of the pipe whose radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times, that is, R=1.5D. Short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.0D. (D is the diameter of the elbow, and R is the radius of curvature).
⑸. According to the pressure level: there are about seventeen kinds, which are the same as the American pipe standards, including: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS; Sch80, SCH100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160, XXS; the two most commonly used are STD and XS.
⑹. According to different shapes and uses, it can be divided into: grooved elbow, ferrule elbow, double bearing elbow, flange elbow, reducing elbow, fixed seat elbow, internal and external teeth elbow, stamping elbow , Push elbow, socket elbow, butt welding elbow, inner wire elbow, etc.
