304 stainless steel elbow is an elbow made of 304 material, 304 material is a kind of stainless steel, 304 stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel produced according to the American ASTM standard. 304 is equivalent to my country's new grades of 30408, 0Cr19Ni10, and old grades of 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel. 304 contains 19% chromium and 9% nickel. 304 stainless steel is a widely used chromium and nickel stainless steel. It has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature mechanical properties, corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, acid and alkali resistance. It is the most commonly used material in the manufacture of fluid pipe fittings. 304 stainless steel elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipeline in the pipeline system. According to the angle, there are three most commonly used ones: 45° and 90° and 180°. In addition, according to the needs of the project, other abnormal angle elbows such as 60° are also included. Elbow connection methods include: direct butt welding, flange connection, threaded connection and socket connection. The elbow production process can be divided into: welding elbow, stamping elbow, push elbow.
Commonly used materials for stainless steel elbows are: (304, 304L, 316, 316L, S30408, S30403, S31608, S31603, SUS304, ASTM A403, TP321, TP317L, 347, 0Cr18Ni9, 00Cr19Ni10, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 06Cr17Ni12Mo2, etc.); Duplex stainless steel: (F51, S31803, S2205, F53, 2507, S32750, F55, 2607, S32760, etc.);
304 stainless steel elbow is divided according to its radius of curvature: it can be divided into long radius elbow and short radius elbow. The long radius elbow refers to the outer diameter of the pipe whose radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times, that is, R=1.5D. Short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R=1.0D. (D is the diameter of the elbow, and R is the radius of curvature). According to the pressure level: there are about seventeen kinds, which are the same as the American pipe standards, including: Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS; Sch80, SCH100, Sch120 , Sch140, Sch160, XXS; the two most commonly used are STD and XS.
