American standard NPT threaded flange is also called American standard screw flange. NPT thread is a kind of American standard 60-degree taper pipe thread. Threaded screw flange is a very common connection method of flanges. The principle is the same as that of screws. Threaded flange is a type of flange structure widely used in engineering construction. It has the advantages of convenient on-site installation and no need for welding. Threaded flanges can be used on pipelines where welding is not allowed on site, such as air conditioning water systems, fire pipelines, etc. For example, the fittings on the water pipeline are threaded. However, when the temperature of the pipeline changes rapidly or the temperature is higher than 260°C and lower than -45°C, it is recommended not to use threaded flanges to avoid leakage. For the connection process of threaded flanges, the threading machine is used to thread the two ends of the pipe, and the connection between the pipe and the threaded flange is firm by means of wire connection. Common threaded connection pipes include; seamless steel pipe, galvanized steel pipe, etc.
