The arc of the pass weld should be welded along 1/3 of the down groove, the 1/3 of the pressure pass should be welded, and the arc should be on the upper side of the pass weld, and the third pass and so on. The thickness of each layer of weld bead of the compensator should not exceed 4mm to prevent slag inclusion. It should be noted that the upper part should not be undercut. After each welding, no coating should be applied, and it should be cleaned after all welding.
